Council will consider all applications in terms of its Employment Equity Plan, which acknowledges the imperative need to diversity the demographic composition of its workforce, with particular emphasis on appointing suitable candidates from the designated/underrepresented groups. Canvassing for appointment will lead to automatic disqualification. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should comprehensively complete the relevant section in the application form. 

In addition to the above-mentioned salary, Council offers all permanent employees benefits such as an annual bonus, a home owner's subsidy, pension and medical subsidies, as well as a contribution to a group life policy scheme.

PLEASE NOTE: Attach certified copies of your highest educational qualifications to your application. Clearly indicate the post and reference number, as well as the newspaper in which it was advertised, on your application. All applications must be submitted on the prescribed application form, obtainable from the Manager: Human Resources Administration on 044 801 9367 or on the website www.george.org.za.  CV's must accompany the official application form and all supporting documents required. Applications that do not comply with the above-mentioned requirements, as well as applications forwarded via fax or e-mail, will not be considered.

If you are not invited for an interview within three months of the closing date, please accept that your application was unsuccessful. We will only enter into correspondence with short-listed candidates.

 

    

Die Raad oorweeg alle aansoeke ingevolge sy diensbilikheidsplan, wat erkenning verleen aan die dringende behoefte om die demografiese samestelling van sy personeelkorps te diversifiseer, veral met die oog op die aanstelling van geskikte kandidate uit die aangewese/onderverteenwoordigde groepe. Gunswerwing met die doel om aangestel te word, sal tot outomatiese diskwalifikasie lei. Persone met gestremdhede word aangemoedig om aansoek te doen en die relevante afdeling in die aansoekvorm volledig te voltooi. 

Benewens vermelde salarisse, bied die Raad alle permanente werknemers voordele soos ‘n jaarlikse bonus, ‘n huiseienaarstoelae, pensioen- en mediese subsidies, asook ‘n bydrae tot ‘n groeplewensversekeringskema.

Indien u aan die vereistes voldoen, rig ‘n voltooide aansoekvorm aan die Bestuurder: Menslike Hulpbron-administrasie, Posbus 19, George 6530.

LET WEL: Heg gewaarmerkte afskrifte van u hoogste opvoedkundige kwalifikasies aan u aansoek. Die pos en verwysingsnommer, asook die koerant waarin die pos geadverteer is, moet duidelik op u aansoek gemeld word. Alle aansoeke moet ingedien word op die voorgeskrewe aansoekvorm wat verkrygbaar is by die Bestuurder Menslike Hulpbronne by 044 801 9367 of op die webtuiste www.george.org.za. Die amptelike aansoekvorm moet vergesel word van CV’s en alle ondersteunende dokumente wat vereis word. Aansoeke wat nie aan die bogenoemde vereistes voldoen nie, asook aansoeke per faks of e-pos ontvang, sal nie oorweeg word nie.

Indien u nie binne drie maande nĂ  die sluitingsdatum vir ‘n onderhoud genooi word nie, kan u aanvaar dat u aansoek onsuksesvol was. Daar sal slegs met kanditate wat die kortlys gehaal het, in verbinding getree word.
